The
CINI Cybersecurity National Lab has received a mandate from the Cybersecurity Unit of the Italian Republic to form the
Italian Cyberdefender Team representing Italy in international cybersecurity competitions.
ENISA annually organizes the
European Cyber Security Challenge (ECSC) to favor the exchange of knowledge and talents overall Europe. The competion is open to all European countries and each nation organizes a
team composed by 10 players between
14 and 25 years old.
In Italy, the national team is formed by the best young talents selected from the training programs organized by the Cybersecurity National Lab. Team members goes away in a training session, to know each others and the coaches, and to sharpen their technical skills before the challenge.
